Yemi Osinbajo, Governor El-Rufai, Bishop Oyedepo, Omotola Jalade attend Tony Elumelu’s event for African entrepreneurs

Billionaire entrepreneur and chairman of Heirs Holdings, Mr. Tolu Elumelu today had the honour of the presence of Nigeria’s vice-president, professor Yemi Osinbajo at his foundation’s event for young entrepreneurs holding at the Covenant University, Ota in Ogun state.

The Tony Elumelu Foundation Entrepreneurship Programme (TEEP) is presently holding a three-day bootcamp event for 10,000 young entrepreneurs drawn from across Nigeria and Africa to promote the ideals of entrepreneurship and development.

Also present at today’s session of the bootcamp event are the Prime Minister of Benin Republic, Lionel Zinsou; Chancellor of Covenant University, Bishop David Oyedepo; Kaduna state governor, Malam Nasir El-Rufai; accomplished Nollywood actress, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde.

While delivering his keynote address, vice president Yemi Osinbajo advocated greater respect for the rule of law as economies cannot grow without social affairs which are in turn regulated by the rule of law.
The prime minister of Benin Republic, Mr. Lionel Zinsou in his speech acknowledged the prominent role Nigeria plays in driving economic growth in the sub-region.

Governor of Kaduna state, Nasir El-Rufai congratulated the young entrepreneurs from across Africa who were selected for the mentorship training which comes to an end tomorrow. He also assured them that Africa is a good place to be an entrepreneur and that the present government will transform Nigeria in four years.

Nollywood diva, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde popularly called Omosexy is also in attendance and addressed the entrepreneurs. The accomplished screen goddess advised young women to address the challenge of intimidation as they will always meet people who are likely better at what they do.
